Merendino Cemetery Care offers a complete, customized care solution to religious, private, and national cemeteries. Services include grounds management, interments, mausoleum restoration and horticulture. We offer a high energy environment and potential for growth!

Basic Duties: This position is responsible for the lawn maintenance and burials for various cemeteries. Supervise a maintenance crew, coordinate work schedules and delegate assignments based on workload; perform work inspections and show crews better, faster and safer methods of operating equipment and servicing clients; train employees on processes, procedures and the proper equipment use; address customer and employee concerns and plow during the winter months. Manage equipment needs, maintenance and repairs; work on construction projects and mausoleum restoration.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must be able to squat of minimum of 200 lbs.
• Must be able to lift, carry and move objects weighing at least 50 lbs for extended periods of time.
• Must bend, stoop and crouch on a regular basis to adjust machinery and perform general maintenance duties.
• Must have vision in both eyes and accurate depth perception.
• Must be able to work outdoors 100% of the time.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience using heavy equipment is preferred.
• Good customer services and verbal communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and decimals.
